Kolob Canyons

At the northern end of Zion National Park is Kolob Canyons.  We had not been to this part of the park on our previous visit to Zion in 2006.  Since it was less than 10 miles from our campground, we decided to check it out.
Lots of pretty scenery and massive rock formations is what you get on this drive.  Several pull-outs to stop and take photos, it is basically drive in and back out again, but we are glad we made the trip!

It sure is nice to have the Senior Pass now!  It has saved us the $80.00 for the annual pass and a lot more if we were paying at each park!
