Traveling to Utah

We broke camp and headed for our next stop, Red Ledge RV Park in Kanarraville, UT.  Our route would take us out the east entrance of the Grand Canyon National Park then north on Hwy. 89.
South of Page, AZ, we turned onto Alternate 89 because the road was closed due to a landslide earlier this year.  Continued on to Hwy. 389 which turns into Rt. 59 when we crossed the state line.  On through Hurricane and La Verkin, UT to I-15 to exit 42 to Kanaaraville and the campground.

These photos are some of the beautiful scenery along the way.  Please excuse the bug splats on the windshield!

Crossing the Colorado River

Vermillion Cliffs
We noticed it was getting hazier as we went along, kind of smokey.  We found out that it was indeed smoke from the southern California wildfires.  Imagine how bad it was down there if we could see the smoke in southern Utah!
